WHAT YOU GET
Sizes and drops
For restaurants we hire two layers: top cloths in 36in and 45in, and base tablecloths underneath — 54in square seats a table of four, 54in x 70in covers the larger tables. Tell us your table sizes and we'll match both layers before we quote.
Two grades: Standard and Elite
Standard is the workhorse and the cheaper of the two: it holds its colour wash after wash and suits high-turnover dining. Elite is the linen-feel grade — a 25% cotton, 75% polyester weave that presses flatter and drapes heavier, made for tasting menus and white-cloth rooms. Serviettes come in 12 colours to match; most rooms run a white cloth with coloured serviettes, so tell us the look you're after and we'll match it.

How Table Linen Hire Works

We size it and quote it
You give us table sizes, covers and how often you re-lay. We put together cloth sizes, grade and weekly numbers, and price it on the call.

Weekly swap on your route day
The driver takes your used cloths and leaves the agreed count, laundered and pressed flat. Your set delivery day holds every week, so the linen cupboard never runs the room.
03
Washed at our plant, returned
Cloths go through our own Golborne facility, nobody else's. Wine, gravy and candle wax come out or the cloth comes out of circulation — we grade every piece before it goes back on a van.

WHAT TABLECLOTH SIZES DO I NEED FOR MY TABLES? Measure the top, then add the drop on each side — most North West dining rooms run a 6 to 12in drop depending on how formal the room is. Send us your table sizes and we'll match cloth sizes to them before we quote, with samples if you want to see the fall first.
IS THERE A MINIMUM WEEKLY ORDER FOR TABLE LINEN? Yes, but it's agreed on your quote, not read off a rate card. If our van already runs your street in Greater Manchester or Cheshire, a small weekly cloth order is workable. Tell us your table count and re-lay pattern and we'll give you a straight answer in one call.
WHAT ABOUT WINE STAINS, WAX AND CIGARETTE BURNS? Service staining — wine, gravy, wax — is our job and costs you nothing extra. Burns and tears take a cloth out of circulation; we pull it at the Golborne plant and replace it from our stock. You're only charged for lost cloths or misuse, at the per-item rate written into your agreement.
HOW LONG AM I TIED IN AND WHAT NOTICE DO I GIVE? You're not tied in. Table linen agreements roll with no minimum term across the North West, quantities flex with your bookings, and you cancel with a short notice period we confirm in writing. December banquets up, January down — the agreement follows your diary, not the other way round.
HOW FAST CAN A NEW ACCOUNT START? Most new table linen accounts in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire start within 5 to 7 working days of agreeing sizes and numbers. Weekly deliveries then hold to a fixed route day with washing back inside 48 hours. Lost your supplier mid-week? Ring us anyway — sometimes we can bridge it faster.
IS THE LINEN WASHED TO EHO STANDARDS? Yes. Every cloth is washed at commercial temperatures at our own Golborne facility and the process is logged. You get written confirmation of temperatures and procedure for your EHO file without asking, which North West inspectors increasingly expect to see alongside your kitchen records.
